HBO GO: Stream with TV Package App Reviews

I have never been able to make this app work. I know I have my user info, password etc. all correct. HBO says the problem is with our cable/WiFi provider, Wowway. Wowway blames HBO. I believe Wowway because A. Their cable/WiFi/phone service has been outstanding for 15 years and B. All the other apps on my phone & iPad work just fine and C. Everybody else hates this weak, poorly-designed, non-functioning waste of time. Don’t get it!

The worst app ever it never connects and never lets me sign in. How about HBO worry about cistern service rather than just take our money

I was able to access HBOGo on my phone and I pad for two years. Now I am asked to sign in again but they only give me Optimum as a provider. I use Fios and I cannot log in any,ore. I deleted and reinstalled the app but Optimum is my only option. I give up.

The iPhone X Home Indicator stays on-screen and never disappears while watching any movies or tv shows. It’s a real problem and I can’t watch anything without being completely distracted by this user interface bug.

It works fantastic on my AppleTV for ondemand or when I travel. As always that depends on the Wi-Fi you have access to. But the app is easy to use and has their full library.

When you log in with FiOS, you get a blank page. HBO Support ignores requests. This app is pointless.

Thank you for optimizing for iPhone X! One thing I would like is push notifications for new seasons and movies released, so I don’t have to open the app just to see if anything new has released. Other then that, the app has a great over all flow and works very smoothly. Keep up the good work HBO!

Updated app with iPhone 6. Black Screen only.

I would love to watch movies but the app constantly crashes and freezes. I can’t stand having to deal with this. Fix the bugs I think we pay enough money for our subscription to have access to an application that works when we need it.

I pay a lot to subscribe to HBO via Direct TV -- why cant you recognize my login info or, apparently, anyone elses AT&T info!? It seems as though an overpriced service would wish to fix a known problem quickly in order to maintain the satisfaction of their customer base. And to get higher ratings from said customer base.

It is almost impossible to completely stream an entire episode of any 40+ minute tv show without some sort of mind-numbing technical error. Im not sure if this is just for chromecast, but even so, it must be fixed. When watching Game of Thrones, the show will literally stop for at least a minute for every 10 seconds of content for ANY type of fight scene. I wish I could say this is just my WiFi but its not because Ive tested it on multiple different WiFis!!!!!! Ive read other reviews and how an app this big can be such a complete failure is an embarrassment and poor reflection of the wants of the consumer vs the interests of a large company. Pathetic.

This app does not work on my iPad or Android. Ive only gotten it to work once on mu iPhone. Do better HBO!

On the ipad this app crashes about every 2 minutes. Other than that - ie other than it not working, not doing the one thing its supposed to do - its great

DOES NOT LET ME CONNECT TO MY TV PROVIDER. BRINGS TO ME TO A GREY SCREEN WHEN I TRY TO SIGN IN. PLEASE FIX.

This app is incredibly inconvenient. After each episode I watch I literally have to search for the show again and figure out with episode I left off on. This app development is embarrassing. Period.

I have been using this app for a while, and now all the sudden it glitches and quits whenever you try and sign in....BOOOO

App won’t even let me open it. As soon as I click on it, it exits me out back to my home screen

After upgrading, app is stuck in portrait mode with no way to switch it back to landscape, and most series cant be found in search. Thanks for the "bug fixes"!
