HBO GO: Stream with TV Package App Reviews

This app is so frustrating! It freezes about every 3 minuets. I’ve tried everything to stop this but it seems to be getting worse by the day. They need to fix this ASAP!

Loads forever even on a 100mbit connection, video breaks down and have to restart it if you accidentally use Siri on remote, doesnt support Siri actions. Im appalled that HBO would release such a sloppy app.

I’ve been told they are revamping their app? I’ve decided to delete it and find something else. I’ll try again in the future. I’d avoid it for now

On the iPad this app is excruciatingly slow to load any show I try to watch. I end up giving up and just watching something on Netflix

The fact that I have to go through about 7 steps every single day to watch Vice News Tonight is RIDICULOUS! The lack of options in this app are mind blowing. Come on.

Updating my previous 1 star review to 3. Thank you for updating for iPhone X. Much better integration. The app still has a ways to go to be on par with Netflix and YouTube apps. Would like to see double tap to go forward/back like YouTube. Better management of shows in progress etc. Still crashes more often than other streaming apps. Getting really close though.

This app is frustrating and useless. I enter login credentials and continue to get a white screen of death. Enter again, repeat. Deleted this useless app.

Every time I try to use this app, it will not let me sign into my service provider... therefore I cannot use it... aaargh!

Looks great now that full screen support has been added, and the Home Bar also disappears during playback. Happy to see responsiveness in customer support.

It’s almost 2018 and this app doesn’t let you download shows and movies to view offline!!! How hard is that to do? Netflix Showtime Amazon Video all allow downloads. Come on HBO. What the hell does hbo go mean if I can’t download and go???

This app is everything as advertised. But PLEASE allow for downloads and offline viewing. Netflix, Amazon and Showtime all have that capability. I commute 80 minutes to work each day and would really like to watch HBO content on my iPad.

And that’s all I can ask for. Thanks so much for updating to the iPhone X. ???????????

HBO app one of the only apps that doesn’t allow downloading for offline use when traveling or in areas we little or no internet access. The developer gave a generic response, but no plans or roadmap of when they will fix the shortcomings of this app. #Fail #1990s_Are_Over #Publish_Your_Roadmap Boo

Netflix, Amazon, Comcast, Hulu, You Tube, ITunes, PBS.....ALL work better. The upside is that I can now cancel my entire $15 a month subscription as I only watch on my phone...well I try to. Thanks for not caring at all about the user experience HBO. I get it, times are tough for you.
