The app needs to be updated for the iPhone X

Pretty good looking app but: Chromecast functionality lacks, as there are many small issues. If I fast forward or go back there’s no thumbnail preview. So you have to guess where you need to be. Also the watchlist should be for series not specific episodes. It is counter-productive to search for a show every time I want to watch it. Finally, there should be an auto-play feature. Sincerely annoying to have to play each episode individually during a binge session.

Fix your app you can’t sign in or utilize it. Totally useless.

Not for movies we have on DVD already. I’d go 5.00 a month not 15.00.

Keeps freezing while trying to sign in

HBO app one of the only apps that doesn’t allow downloading for offline use when traveling or in areas we little or no internet access. The developer gave a generic response, but no plans or roadmap of when they will fix the shortcomings of this app. #Fail #1990s_Are_Over #Publish_Your_Roadmap

The iPhone X has been out a month now and no update what a disaster

The app only worked in the beginning but then I continued using it and everything on there was unwatchable the screen would freeze or turn green and would do this every time I restarted the app or closed it even when I restarted my iPad it would be the same problem and I havent seen an update yet

No “play next episode” button. You have to manually search for the next episode in a series. Please have the show where I left off on the homepage for the next day

I am using this hbo go application on my Xbox one S as well, and you cannot watch any movie continuously at all. It freezes at certain points in the playback and then stops working and goes back to the Xbox menu. It is a 100% failure rate where if you cannot watch a whole movie before it freezes up, why are you not fixing the issue? You have to restart the app and hope it retained where you left off in the movie. HBO, you need to put effort into this app. It doesn’t pay to have HBO if it doesn’t work. Learn from Netflix and sling tv on how to write a successful app. Reply to developer: Please read the review properly. It happens on the Xbox one S, not the iPad.

Consistently won’t let me login with my correct info.

I’ve been using hbo go for about a year now but since I got my iPhone X, it’s been bad because of the large bezels. Please change this HBO

This app needs serious work. It continues to kick me out regularly and make me log in. When I attempt it tells me my password is wrong. It is not wrong. I attempt so many times it locks me out. Wait a few days and magically I am allowed back on. HBO shouldn’t have these problems with an app.

Needs improvement

This app has the worst case of short term memory I’ve ever seen and makes me log in nearly every time I use it. HBO is making it pretty obvious they’ve either given up or just don’t care anymore. Netflix said they were going to steal HBO’s lunch, and now look...they have. HBO, stop acting like the dinosaur you are; get your act together, fix your services and this god forsaken app.

HBO has A+ selection of old and new movies. Excellent taste that surpasses Netflix or Hulu. However this app is what will run their business into obsolete.

Glitches and bugs all over this app. No way to resume where you left off. No way to skip to other episodes after a reload as it goes backwards a few episodes at restart. Have to FFWD to end of episode and click “next”. Stops randomly even with fast Ethernet.

I even updated my DirecTV password for it. Its been 8 hours. Fix, please.

Have been unable to watch in my iPhone because unlike the website, the app doesnt even give an option for xfinity cable!
