HBO GO: Stream with TV Package App Reviews

The title pretty much says it all. They make it extremely difficult even to log on to your account, screw this. I wish could give it less then one star

Another one star... will HBO to fix their app and pricing? I will not subscribe to this app (or any app) that has so many negative ratings. I am not so arrogant that I think that something I do will be anything different than everyone else is doing. Why invite their frustration to my iPad? Also, from what Im reading from the other HBO app reviews, it makes no sense to get the HBO app instead of a Comca$t subscription because there is no true cost savings?! Hey, HBO, here is a novel idea: read your reviews. Fix your app and lower the price and maybe youll get somebody like me to take a chance.

HBOGO is horrible. It never works. And its not just the app that has problems, the website is just as useless.

This is why people download shows vs paying for them, the UX is crap when you pay legitimetly for your service. Reward your customers vs pushing more away. Make a product we love to use and cant live without.

Forget about watching it in any other but your own network.

HBO please take a look at Lynda.coms app they have figured out how to have proper video streaming app.

It doesnt go back to the app after you sign in to your cable company. This wouldnt be an issue if they didnt force you to sign in every 3 weeks. Figure your ish out HBO. Netflix doesnt have this issue.

It crashed. Now it says it cant connect. I had just installed it.

Everything else on my TV and all the other apps on my Apple TV sound loud and clear on level 15 volume, but every time I open HBO, I have to crank it up to 45 just to sound the same as everything else does on 15. Then when Ive forgotten and switch back to other things, it scares my cat... Scares...my...cat! Absurd. Also, you should allow certain shows to be added to a favorites list, and that favorites list should show up on screen upon opening. I only watch two shows, and I want them both visible when I open it.

Wont let me continue a show on the app after i signed out of it on my laptop. It says theres too many people using the account but im the only one using it. Pls fix this.

I Constantly having to sign in over and over again due to technical difficulties. Appears to be a common problem. Why has this not been fixed yet!

Why cant you select what territory I am in. I have a HBO LA subscription because I am located in the Caribbean, but a US iTunes account ever since. But when I download this retarded app, I get its only available to US citizens. But works fine on my PC albeit in Spanish (another problem) Come on guys its 2016

Been trying to use this app for two days now and keep getting an error message stating that there was a startup error. I try to reboot the app and the phone and still wont load properly. Deleted the app and downloaded it again, guess what, still loading error. One of the reasons I added HBO to my DirecTV package was for the option to watch programs remotely and now it has just become a frustration.

Im honestly shocked that in this day and age an app can still perform so poorly. I even initially thought it was me or my connection, but no way... The streaming always lags, is constantly stuck, and the 10-/10+ malfunctions. Its just overall very poor user experience and very frustrating... They should consider using APM solutions to try and solve their problems. The other reviewers are right, crazy that such a big company would invest or build such a mediocre app...

I see a lot of the negative reviews and I dont doubt them. I just havent experienced the issues many have described in a lot of reviews; the app seems to work fine for me.
