HBO GO: Stream with TV Package App Reviews

Somebody at HBO call Netflix and figure out how its done! Wow...how can you watch anything when will freeze every 5 minutes. No matter what the bandwidth is you are using, you are at the mercy of HBO servers. Strange, I never get a server error while using other streaming services. Im sure youll figure it out, but its gonna be hard to keep HBO in the meantime.

Overall this app is great for what its suppose to do, and it works great with chromecast. My only issue is the closed caption... Every time I start a movie its on and I have to turn it off. If I pause, the CC come on, if restart the CC comes on, anytime I do anything while its casting to chromecast the CC comes on. Just a little annoying to constantly have to turn off the CC every time I make a move while connected to my chromcast.

Cons: - Causes my netgear router to freeze - repeated password challenges - poor search and navi - doesnt remember play lists Dreadful app.

Im vacationing in Europe and was bummed to miss the first two new episodes of this seasons Game of Thrones. However, it occurred to me I could watch it on my iPad...NOT SO FAST...HBOGO is only available in the 48 continental United States?!?!? What? So I cant even watch it in Hawaii? My Showtime Anytime app worked like a charm though. Cmon HBO, you are better than this.

Almost every time I try to use this app it fails in some way. I cannot believe I pay a premium price for this service because it fails to work almost every time I use it. Would not recommend using this app. If you use chromecast expect a life of disappointment because the app does not work with it or smart tvs. Will definitely not subscribe after my contract is over.

This app quit connecting with my Chromecast. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but that didnt work. Its not my Chromecast because all my other casting apps will connect. Super disappointed.

Im baffled on who does their test marketing for updates. I get enhancing...but removing well liked functions like zoom or portrait...just lame

This app used to work just fine for me until one day I opened it and it said that the app was only available to people in the United States. Last time I checked Im in the U.S. Its been like this for days.

Why cant I share a link to an episode anywhere in the app?!

This app is a piece of crap. Screw HBO. Im shelling out quite a lot of money to be able to watch your shows and this app screws everything up. Now, I cant even watch on my laptop because it says Ive "exceeded the number of screens allowed" even AFTER I freaking logged out, deleted the app off my phone, and waited two hours. You just lost a customer.

The Authentication of service provider needs to be fixed. It does not even let you sign in, just forces you to a register page. Good grief guys, lets keep up with the times.

I love the app when it works but the majority of the time I get an start up error message. I have uninstalled and installed the several times and still does the same thing on my iPad and iphone 6. This happens way more than the app actual works!! HBO step your game up cause I really love the app when it decides to work!!

The app constantly has issues such as freezing, random errors, and saying that Im streaming elsewhere and cant watch even though Im not streaming elsewhere.

Every time I sign in through Comcast on the app it says I already have HBO and I can start watching but then it keeps asking me to sign in and I dont get to watch anything!!!

What is the point in having this app if you have me only able to watch through xfinity website. Pretty pointless if you ask me.

When the app asks me to confirm my cable provider -- which used to work fine -- now I just get hung up endlessly on a"loading" page and cant watch anything. I have deleted and then added the app again, but it is always the same problem. The app is useless.

For the amount of money us customers pay a month, least thing you guys can do is make a stable app, I mean a crashes every now and then isnt bad, things happen, but not being able to even open the app at all is ridiculous, I mean you guys have the money to even hire Mark Zuckerberg to make the app for you guys, you guys have all the money in the world, dont know How this happens
