Freezes all the time. Crap stream. Netflix and amazon are better.

Worst app on my iPad. I havent been able to open it for 4 days.

I cant connect to Chromecast.

Good concept, horribly executed. Crashes every few minutes - how hard is it HBO?

Will give a rating once I can get on but since I dont have cable or satellite I cant watch HBO go

This is the most frustrating app. Performance is terrible - why does each page take 5 or 6 seconds to load? No other streaming apps are this slow. Why arent there descriptions of the shows? The audio and video constantly get out of sync. Every time I open the app I have to sign in again. This app has the most terrible UX. Please fix it, you are ruining the experience of watching great shows!

Updated app no longer browses in landscape, so you are forced to switch between portrait and landscape to browse then watch. Also, browser icons are huge and one across, making the list you have to scroll through ridiculous. No more grid. Seems designed for phones, not iPads. Dont upgrade unless you have to!

If you select Dish Network as a provider it no longer brings up the Dish Loggins page. Useless , cant use

Ever since the most recent update my app wont even open on my iPad. If I click on it it just lists waiting, but wont open. It doesnt even let me delete it to try to redownload it. Nothing happens if I click delete.

Discovered Starz allows me to download their shows to watch offline! HBO does not. Fix this! I thought you were hoping to be better than others.

Im giving this a 1 star because I switched between computer (where streaming just wasnt playing for whatever reason), and my phone and when I tried to get back on the computer it told me I was streaming in too many places. So I signed out on the phone and it still wouldnt let me stream on the computer. VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!

I love this app and use it on both my iPhone and iPad. HBO offers quality shows and a good selection of well-known movies along with some originals. The video quality is wonderful, the app works almost flawlessly, and I have never been frustrated with it. There are only a few small complaints; 1. Picture-in-picture does not transition from the app to the home screen well. When I use Picture in Picture on other services like Netflix, it transitions smoothly. This is not the case with HBO Go. I usually have to rewind the show a few seconds back and then enter PIP so that i dont miss anything, which is very annoying. 2. The layout. I find it annoying that I can only add episodes to Watch List, and not the whole series. Its very annoying, especially with many-episode shows like Last Week Tonight. I also wish the continue watching page was accurate so that i can pick right back up where I left off. Overall, a fantastic app and service that has not failed to serve its purpose and entertain!

Im a fan of HBO, but this app and the poor Chromecast integration makes me want to cancel my subscription. Its so frustrating that I come away angry and fed up. Why would I pay money for something that does that?

Needs 1080p stream quality.

I have powerful Wi-Fi, and everything runs smoothly except this POS. Have not been able to watch one second of anything. Wi-Fi is at full strength, yet it keeps seeking with zero results. This app is the equivalent of turning off your iPad and watching whats on the screen, which would be nothing.

Youre app keeps crashing. It wont remember what your casting using Google chromecast. Tried watching NeverEnding Story and it distorted it the whole. Would work on my iPad. Your on demand wont even load. Why am I paying for this?
