Needs iPhone X update

Sadly, HBO’s so-so app design and functionality do not match their great content. The app lacks support for “full screen” birder to border video on the iPhone X. Also, when in landscape view watching a movie, the little “home” bar at the bottom never goes away. In other video apps, the line at the bottom fades away after 10 seconds or so. This app should do the same but it doesn’t, so you’re stuck with that thin line at the bottom of all your horizontal videos.

C’mon, HBO! It’s not like you’re a sporting goods company just dabbling in video apps—this is what you do! How could the HBO app not be THE BEST video app?
